I would guess that your adapter just isn't working. If you hook a VGA monitor up using the Mac 640x480 profile, it will think it's running at 66.7Hz, and the screen will roll. Since it doesn't go away with the other settings, I would guess your adapter is broken. Those machines should be able to output [EMAIL PROTECTED] just fine if given the correct sense code.
