As it happens I got a copy of the OS 8.5 enabler with my Sonnet 100 mhz
card for my 575/Color Classic. I've not used it because I'm so
old-fashioned I don't even own 8.5! But it is true that the Sonnet card is
just a Daystar card in a Sonnet box - they used old Daystar parts and my
card even has a Daystar logo on it. So it would make sense to think the
enabler would work on the Apple PPC card.
Of course, the PPC card for the 575 etc. computers is a different card than
for the 950 etc.
One last comment - now that I know how slow the 100 mhz card runs with
System 7.5.5, I can't understand why anyone would want to run the 66 mhz
card with 8.5.
