Open the computer. Remove the power cord from the wall. Some people use a
grounding strap that you can buy at most places that sell electronic
equipment (I've never felt the need, though). Examine where the hard drive
is...probably in some cradle or some such thing...one of you 660 guys can
help out here..... Remove it. Disconnect the SCSI connector from the hard
drive. Remove the power cable from the hard drive. Both of them should
come off with a gentle tug. Don't JERK either of the cables.....I've had
one of those ribbon cables come into bits by pulling too hard. Loosen the
screws that hold the drive in the cradle. Replace with your new drive.
Connect the cables....power and SCSI only go in one way.... Put everything
back together. Close the computer case. Load a new OS and software. Done.
> Also what tools do I need and where do I get the tools needed?
A Phillips screwdriver.

I bought one for as little as $40.00, but that was for 2 gigabytes. You can
probably get them cheap on Ebay or some such.
And my $0.02..... Shortly after I bought my first computer back in 1984, my
first Radio Shack Color Computer. I didn't have it 2 days when I had it
open and looking around inside. There wasn't much to see but I had to open
it anyway. When I bought my first PC, I had it open the same day I brough
it home. Am I the only one?
You won't hurt anything...unless you go pulling out wires and hitting it
with a screwdriver and then I really can't guarantee that you'll get a
"Happy Mac" at startup...
