I had said I would post this info as soon as I could, it is from August01 
Macaddict pg 22.
If you have ever gotten the sad mac you would want to know what some of the 
letters and numbers mean it is as follows:
If you check the digit at the end of the first line below the sad mac and 
you have;
1 means you have a hardware rom trouble, off to the shop.
2,3,4,5 Clean and reseat your ram.If not then off to the shop
8 or A then you have bad ADB or Nubus systems to check.
B,C,D you have a bad scsi, floppy or serial port chips, the hose.                 
Repair shop.
F or if the sad mac appears afte the happy mac then you should reload your 
software.

        Now all this info could also be in pickles site so I am sorry for the 
adding of info.
