Thanks for the suggestion to check out Macworld in relation to the
Epson Scanner. I found a couple of mentions that are prompting me to
look in a different direction. I'm begininmg to suspect that no matter
what piece of scanner technology I end up buying, I'll have to do some
kind of double shuffle to get the effects I want anyway. That little
voice of common sense that we very seldom listen to seems to be telling
me "just make a reasonable purchase on the lower end of the price list
and find your way through experience to an eventual best buy." Regards, John.
