Hi Bruce,
My cable modem is attached to a beige G3 tower @333mhz - 256RAM,
UltraATA drive - all the important (make it faster) things.
Tha cable modem downloads most all sites quite fast (250-400kps) so I didn't
really suspect it - toggling proxy didn't seem to help either. ah well..
