ICTF
I have again encountered operator inadequacy. I have a Word document on
computer A and want to print it on the printer attached to computer B.
Computer A obviously has Word installed, computer B does not have Word
installed. I selected computer A in the network browser wind of computer B
and brought the desired volume to the desktop of computer B and then
selected print and navigated to the desired Word document. Computer B
whirrs and tics and then gives me an error message that WOrd cannot be
opened. How do I get this to print? Does the computer witht the printer
have to have the applicaton installed for every document that it prints?
What then, I ask again, is a printer server?
