My IIci floppy drives are often not that reliable, either. Sometimes bad
disks, I guess, but couldn't always be.

Zip drive died an ugly (and noisy) death. After several tries with other

computers, I finally called Iomega.

I want to say to their credit that they treated me very favorably and have

agreed to replace the drive, even though it is several years old. Since they

no longer produce the SCSI version of the Zip 100 drive they are sending me

a Zip 250 SCSI drive......>>

Yes, I had COD on the zip drive on my Q800, and they replaced mine though out
of warrantee, unfortunately with a refurbished one(with 90-day warrantee)
that didn't work right. But they let me return that one, too(at their
shipping expense) and replaced it with one that works. So I am also pleased
with them.
