Older versions of Toast (prior to 4) >had some quirks that made the creation of bootable CDs a rather black art. You'll have to make a disk image to copy the system folder to, before burning. Then you can bless the system folder, and get the disk bootable. While you're at it, put some helpfull tools on the CD too.
