Hey all, On the Q/C660av and several others since then, some "a/v" Macs have had an s-video in jack on the back of the case. This is a mini-din jack which accepts a plug with seven pins, three across the top and four across the middle. Has anyone ever actually seen this plug in the wild? Anyone have audio/video devices with a plug that could interface with this jack? What did anyone ever plug into this jack on the Q/C660av, considering there are no such plugs in the entire world, according to my research.
Okay, I'm trying to calm down now. The project in question is modifying the Q/P630 etc TV tuner module to be used with any Mac with such an s-video in port. Details on request, but first, we need to find the darn plug. Best, Gary -- San Antonio, TX "A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five."
