I have a 840 av with a deskwriter 680C and a laser ntII on a
localTalk network. It shares, via Local Talk Bridge, these printers
with an iMac and a couple of IIc's that are connected via ethernet. The
ethernet also has a DSL router on it. This is not supposed to work.
According to the doc the LocalTalk Bridge won't work with another router
on the same LAN but its working at my house. All the computers can
access the internet and all the MACs can access the printers. (there are
a few PCs on the ethernet too...sorry)
It sounds like your setup is similar...only the names changed to
protect the innocent?
