That sounds like you're just plain lucky :). All LC040-FPUless 040's 
I've seen have had "68LC040" stamped on the chip - and you have a nice 
happy FPU there I'd say!

The one sure test is to download a benchmark prog such as speedometer - 
if it records your math speed as dozens of times faster than a Quadra 
605 (the same as an LC475) then the FPU is there and working.
