You only need 10mA through your chest to kill you, you can do the math. I
have to admit, I don't know anybody that's been killed by a TV, but I won't
be finding out myself. I use plenty of caution when working on TV's and
monitors, and usually suggest to Internet taught techies to leave the case
intact. You obviously have the experience to tackle such a job, but I'm
pretty sure that most do not, they usually bring it over here...

I'm pretty sure crack won't kill me either, but that doesn't mean I don't
take it seriously. Myth or otherwise.
