Hi all, Just been fiddling with my macs again and I was booting them to check they still worked, came accross one of my c650's and it just turned off and further investigation notes that it blew the 3A fuse in the power cable! also the psu smells of burn a bit! Popking aound I note the psu is rated at 1.5a not 3 (on 200-240v), I'd usually assume this means i should use a 1.5a fuse for protection but these are not common, all computer stuff uses 3a or 5a fuses.
Any idea what could case this and what i should do. I'll admit that this c650 really has a mucky motherboard, sort of gunk and nasty stuff, though I can't see any reason this would cause this!
