Thanks for all the responses -- great list!!! I am going to first hook up the Quadra to a router "as is", and see how it works -- before I start with PPC upgrades or replacements. Except it turns out the Ethernet card was physically broken by the previous owner (I never had to use it before). Any recommendations on brands/sources of compatible Ethernet cards and good routers?
