25 MHz parts run at 24.883 MHz, I think. Not enough of a difference.

However, if the original  machine was overclocked from 33 to 36 MHz
(possible since we're talking about a Q950, not a C650 - see what happens
when threads get off-topic?) which is a reasonable overclock, then the
clock-doubled PC601 would run at 72 MHz.
