Having just found if i go down directorys to the "Mac OS 8" directory on a G3 OS 8 cd i have then it will install OS 8 on my C650 (clicking on the install in the root fails) I was thinking is OS 8 the best os to run on such a machine? No question it's gonna be the best using b2 on the pc, but how about on a real 68k mac? machine is C650/86mb ram. Seems to run as good as 7.5 did to me. Should i update it and are any pint updates avaiulable for 8.0? (is 8. for instance avail as an update) I had bad experience undateing 7.5.3 to 7.5.5 which rendered the system unbootable on the machine!
