The Apple number of the adapter you need is: (1P) P/N: 922-0736 CBL ASSY, MAC/PC ADPTR, DSPL
Good that I always keep the bags of the stuff I buy :) But be warned, that is a costly piece, I paid $35 for it (a rip-off, imho) Plus, your monitor has to be a multi-scan monitor, because it has to match the horizontal frequency of the screens in Dos, which are very low, so forget about your 14" Apple trinitron, no fixed frequency monitor will work properly on a PC as long as you dont invest loads of money in a fixed frequency graphics board. I use my "Apple Multiple Scan 17" also on an evil PC, because what I can squeeze out of Virtual PC even on my new G4 is just a poor joke (flame on). My older "Apple 16" Colour Display" did not work, since its a fixed frequency monitor. Of course, you could drag your old 14" monitor to the technician and ask him to convert it, but that would not be worth the effort. If you want good monitors with a flexible design = all sync types (composite, sperate, and sync-on-green-green), a broad range of frequency, both DB and BNC connectors, go shop for monitors of the brand "Eizo".
