Neat, but why are you telling us this? See, the presence of the "other" systems is a fact - period.
Getting more knowledge can never be considered bad and a sane IT person has to be able to work with *every* operating system out there and to be able to write in at least one programming language. So, installing PC emulations to fiddle around with them and to use clever written PC applications cannot be bad. Not all programmers on the PC side are morons and not all PC apps are written by Microsoft. I use some very well made Dos applications under Virtual PC and there is nothing I should feel guilty or ashamed about. Dont get me wrong, I am with Apple Computers since 1982 - and I am still loyal, despite Apple always used to tread their customers like shit, but this is OK (Oh heaven, what am I writing here?), all companies do it and Apple has blessed the digital world with lots of innovations, so I forgive them. You have to learn that many PC users love their machines like you love our Apple computers. They worked for it, maybe they cannot buy the newest G4. And what really makes me sick is when Mac users go to a public message board, start to flame and insult PC users (no, it is not you I am talking about here) and then wonder and cry why they get flamed to oblivion. I know such persons - and I always have a apologize for them to my friends. And I really hate this Macintosh user group attitude: We are blessed, better than the other, the others are morons, mongs, the brainless scum. Well, I am sane - I do not need this way of thinking. No offence - but what we need is more knowledge and education, not dogmas. -Peter ---------- >Von: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (Quadlist) >An: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (Quadlist) >Betreff: Quadlist Digest #1000 >Datum: Mit, 4.
