My 840av has a plastic 'sled' that the manual inject drive attaches to via the screw mount points in the BASe of the drive. I also know from other machines I have worked on that swapping the floppy from auto- to manual-inject will lead to alignment problems. The 8100 sled and floppy should fit the 800 and 840av.
