Gary,
I have an LC575 running on my home network (ADSL), with a few
improvements it makes a decent mail/web machine.

LC ethernet cards are available used in the usual places or new from
places like OWC, MacResQ etc...

Two other things I did to my 575 to improve it's performance on the net
were to install a 4.5 gig IBM 7200 rpm hard drive and after much searching and
testing a 64MB ram chip.
Both make a huge difference in overall performance of the Mac but
the ram is the key, it let's me allocate plenty of memory to Netscape 4.08
and still leaves plenty to run other tasks.

I have some used PDS cards available as well as a couple of sticks of Ram
available.

Email me off list if your interested and we'll work something out.
