I think I figured out where the setting "should" be, in control panel: Memory, however, the only things I can change are Disk Cashe, Virtual Memory, and Ram Disk. Am I in the right place? Or am I completely off? > >Anything else I can try besides finding newer programs that open my older > >documents (Word, Excel, Works, in particular) I'll be looking for new apps > >in a couple days, but not critial at this point. > What versions of those? Versions I have: MS Word 4.00: gives error type 2 when run) MS Excel: (unknown, no version listed and gives error type -199 when run) MS Works 2.00a:(gives error type -1 when run) GraphicWorks 1.0: gives error type 1 when run) Think Ahead+ 1.2: freezes computer (no loss if I can't even remember what it is I guess) There are others, but the MS products are the one's I'd like to get to work, or upgrade to a working version. If I can get the 32-bit addressing turned off maybe these will work? I'm seriously considering getting the Mac SE/30 that was being sold next to this one, if it's still there, just to see what I can do (keeping this one of course) :P Any guidance would be appreciated.
