hey again guys, i resolved my cd-rom nightmare - the ID selector on the cd-rom case is bad, who would have thought? my latest problem w/ my quadra 700 is that i can't get it out of 256 color mode... well go any higher that is. i dropped in 2 256k video ram simms and it won't change, i put in 2 more and it still does nothing. any body have any advice? i'm a little short on cash or i'd just get a new video card for it.
