Hello. I do have a Centris 660av - a very cool machine: DSP, S-VHS. And there is this 48MHz Motorola 68040 PDS accelerator card that I would gladly use to add some speed increase to this machine. I did so in my Quadra 610 and it feels really nice. But I cannot not find the proper right angle adapter for the Centris 660av, its PDS is totally different from the slot in the Quadra 610 and the PM6100 <---since this has a 601PDS.
So - if anyone has such an adapter and cannot make any use of it - wanna give it to me :::smiles::: ? I would also be extremely happy to get only the card without the metal angle thingy. I noticed, that the Centris 660av graphics performance under OS 8.0 is noticeable better than what I get from my Quadra 610 - even when the 48mHz accelerator board is active in the Quadra and the Centris runs at its 25mHz. I am pretty sure this is due to the DSP in the Centris ^_^ So - I want to put the accelerator in the Centris to make it my best 68040 Apple!
