I did the reload Reader 5.0.5 in hopes of curing the problem but it didn't work,
Have trashed reader still no go. Now I don't get the Failed to load prompt but
still no PDF. As far as 9.2.2 goes I am very happy with it. I probably would
have stayed with 9.1 but I did have OS 10.1.5 on for awhile so I thought 9.2.2
would be useful. Have since scrapped X and have just kept 9.2.2

I meant to send this to the iMac list but clicked on the wrong address. I do
have a Quadra 605 that I just got about a month ago that is why I joined this
list.

On that topic I am running 7.1 on the quadra and can't get it to recognize both
my sylwriter II or the external CD drive. When I pick the SW II in the chooser I
get a prompt that tells me that I need an updated Chooser HUH? As for the cd
drive when I put a cd in nothing ever shows on the desktop. Now I am not using
the proper AV adapter for the drive maybe it is not putting enough power to read
the disk. The adapter is 120v ac 60hz maybe not big enough.
