Also when I bought it it was in a unopened package, so I think it is likely a Cross-Over cable like I said. :-} I haven't done any networking before, so I am trying to check and see if there if I do have the correct type of cable and that there isn't some notorious problem with the ASANTÉ FriendlyNet 10T adapter.
