The cable says BELKIN COMPONENTS CATEGORY 5e PATCH CABLE #R7J304 VERIFIED
(UL) CAT 5e 4PR 24AWG TYPE CM OR MP E129760 CSA TYPE PCC FT4 LL80671 ETL
VERIFIED TO TIA/EIA 568A ISO/IEC 11801 www.belkin.com, with a white printed
label that is taped on the cable that says Cross-Over.

Also when I bought it it was in a unopened package, so I think it is likely a
Cross-Over cable like I said. :-}

I haven't done any networking before, so I am trying to check and see if
there if I do have the correct type of cable and that there isn't some
notorious problem with the ASANTÉ FriendlyNet 10T adapter.

It looks like I need to get another AAUI Adapter, does anyone have one that
is known to work?
