>Could someone please clarify me on this as my 610 floppy drive does do an >auto eject, but I have to push the floppy into the drive so I do not have an >auto inject. Is there a difference, or is this just terminology slang for >this style of floppy drive? > You must have a Quadra 610, which has the later style manual-inject floppy with the black door that covers the opening. Does your computer have what looks like a pair of lips around the middle of the slot for the floppy drive? On the older drives, you do have to push it in a bit, but there's a spring that sucks the floppy down into the drive once you get past the resistance. On the later drives, you have to push it all the way in, then it'll drop down.
