I think I can answer this... Disk tools (PPC) disk will boot any system supporting OS 8.1. Remove the two programs on the disk and install the CD Extension into the system folder on the disk.
Can download this as an image at apples site, here: http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/Eng lish-North_American/Macintosh/System/Mac_OS_8.1_Update/Disk_Tools_PPC.img.bi n You can make a disk using Disk Copy from the image linked above.
