I just acquired an '040 PDS card that has two AT&T 3210 DSPs on it. It is
intended for speeding up Photoshop filters, but from what I know of DSPs
(which is little) I believe you can program them to do just about anything.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience programming DSPs. Specifically,
I think it would be cool to write something that would offload mp3 decoding
to the DSPs.
The DSPs on the card are the same as in the 660AV and 840AV, I believe. I
would figure you would interface with them differently, but the command set
should be the same.
Any info/help is appreciated!
