Despite the warning to read the FAQs, and knowing this must have a simple answer, I have to ask this question because I cannot formulate a search string to kick up the answer: QUESTION: Because OSX supports long filenames and OS9 does not, how can I transfer large numbers of files to my OS9 backup server disk? OSX won't let me do it with regular old filesharing and I don't know how to truncate large numbers of filenames in a batch.
