You should be able to go up to (theoretically) 56k, although in reality it
will be ~48k.
These will be connected to the serial port (not a PC parallel).

Subject: Modems, LC520

I have several LC520s and other LC-series 68040 machines I am trying to
get ready for families who have never owned computers. I would like for
the families to get the machines online. Modem will be their only
choice. My experience, though, is with ethernet.

What is the fastest external modem I can use with an LC520, LC575, and
LC580? Is an internal modem card an option?

Thanks,
Ted Parks, loyal Centris 650 owner (and now bidding on a PB520!)
