VCD is MPEG-1, SVCD is MPEG-2 (like a DVD but on CD media). It takes significantly more resources to decode MPEG-2, and the codecs are not the same. (That means no.) What I would like to know is does the MPEG card decode MP3? MP3 is actually MPEG-1 Layer 3, an audio subset of the MPEG-1. IIRC, the card can decode MPEG files as well as VCDs, so I wonder if you can just open a native MP3 file? _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8.
