Hi, I'm new to the list. I've got a Quadra 840AV running System 7.6.1 British. I'm trying to add a Digidesign Audiomedia II board and have been given the original installation disks for it.
I have Digidesign sound driver 1.31 and Digisystem INIT 2.81 in my Extensions folder. My Sound Manager software is from Quicktime 2.5: Sound Manager 3.2.1 and Sound control panel 8.0.5. The two Digidesign extensions seem to load up fine (the INIT before the sound driver) with no crossed out icons. Yet I only get the default built-in audio in the Sound control panel.
