My SWII knowledge is a bit rusty, though I do have some floating around here somewhere. Ahh... here's one. I *believe* the second, smaller LED is there specifically for errors - paper jams, startup error codes, that sort of thing. The main green LED should stay on for a while (IIRC the printer goes into a standby mode after a while, at which time that goes off - either that or I'm thinking of the SW2400 I was using.) No bent pins in the cable? Just for the heck of it, have you done a test print? (turn printer off, wait a sec or two, turn printer on but HOLD the button down for 5 sec or (IIRC) the small round LED starts flashing, then let go.)
