According to MacWeeks Upgrading & Repairing Your Mac (pub. 95), "the 68030 pds in the LC II and LC III uses the same 96 pin connector as the 68020 LC uses." I have #2 LC II, a LC III, & a Q605. According to this I should be able to use a NIC out of one of the LC II in the LC III, but looking at the boards, the LC III seems to have the same pds connector as the Q605(140 pin 68040 pds?). Will I be able to use the NIC out of the older II in the III of the 605?? Is the book wrong, or do I have a later rev. LCIII with a 68040 pds slot? Aldo will the NIC from the LCII work in my CC? I eventually want to put LC475/Q605 boards in the LC II & III, as well Mystic the CC. Ben Kernan
