If you're developing for the web and you ignore making your website function on IE, then you're ignoring 90% of the web! You're living in a Dreamworld if you ignore IE. I'm not saying IE is the best browser, but it is the dominant browser out there. And if you want customers to come to your site and be able to see your content, then you have to code for IE.
