As for the guy who dumped all that commodore gear to the curb, why not offer
it free to somebody who could use it. I only toss out equipment that is dead
and not worth fixing.

I would like to make the general suggestions that if you have decent (working or mostly working) equipment which isn't worth the time to sell, that you donate it to a local thrift shop such as Goodwill. Many collectors of old stuff browse those stores looking for just that kind of find.


It preserves old equipment, helps Goodwill a little, brightens a collector's day, and if you itemize you can take a little deduction for the charitable donation.
