Acquired this machine yesterday. Opened it up and cleaned out the dust
bunnies. It has a Lapis Color II card in one slot. Looks like 4 ea, 1mb
SIMMS for RAM. VRAM slots empty.

It has what appears to be a "clock chipping" card in the slot nearest the
processor with two small wires clipped to one lead of the oscillator and
one lead of a small IC nearest the processor. This card has an empty slot
on it that looks much like the slot into which it is plugged.

I attached a Macintosh 12" RGB monitor to the Lapis card. Upon power on,
the processor fan runs and the hard drive seems to spin up, but there is
no boot chime. Tried the monitor attached to the Mac Video connector.
Still no chime.

PRAM battery measures 3.6 volts.

Any ideas?

Ken
