I have a recently acquired Q700 with what appears to be a "clock chipping" card in the (I think) ROM SIMM slot (J16). This card has two leads which clip onto two locations on the logic board. One to the processor (?) oscillator and another to a pin of an IC near the processor (location U4 I think - can't read it very well).
The card has the name Spectrum Eng on it and FCC ID JT6VSO. Has anyone had experience with this type of card? Use? Ken -- Quadlist is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
