Dear Quadraphiles: . . . .
Anyway, SBC Yahoo requires SMTP authentication to send outgoing messages. I had been using Netscape Communicator 4.08 for e-mail, but that doesn't do SMTP authentication. Is there an e-mail program (free or cheap) for 68K Macs which will do SMTP authentication? I don't want to be stuck with webmail or dial-up to send e-mail.
Thanks,
Fr. Rob Johansen
I'm sure our fellow Quaddies will soon chime in with all sort of technical details and instructions in answer to your question, but I suggest you begin your search with Eudora <http://www.eudora.com>. Its light (free) versions are numerous and capable, and many web sites and fans live to help out with just such queries as yours. Good luck.
