I started searching for a NuBus card from VideoLogic. It was named, I recall, the DVA-4000.
VideoLogic was based in the U.K., with an office (or two) in the U.S.A. I just came into posession of a DVA-4000 for the mac,the software and manuals. The olny problem is that the software/drivers for the version that I have (1.0) dosen't support the mac that I'm going to use it on (a Centris 650 with 7.5.5). Does anyone have any later version of the software/drivers so I can hook this little fella up?? Bis jetzt hat sich bei den Multimedia-Boards kein Standard durchsetzen k�nnen. Eine einmal produzierte Sequenz kann also nur mit derselben Karte wieder abgespielt werden. Sony- und Videologic-Boards sind allerdings kompatibel, da die Japaner die Lizenz f�r die Software-Entwicklungsumgebung der Briten erworben haben. Bei Videologic hofft man nat�rlich, da� sich MIC als Standard durchsetzen wird. "Ich rechne damit, da� in den n�chsten sechs Monaten ein Standard festgeschrieben wird", erkl�rt Videologics Marketing Manager Trevor Wing gegen�ber der COMPUTERWOCHE. Erf�llen sich die Prognosen von Videologic so sieht der Multimedia-Bereich rosigen Zeiten entgegen.
