You can put a 52xx, 62xx, some 63xx, 55xx & 65xx board
in it with no problem. You also can use a 54xx or 64xx
board but you will have to change the power supply.
Since the 580 has such a putrid monitor, you might
want to just get a 5400 or 5500 since they are quite
reasonably cheap now; you can pick up a 52xx for under
$30, but they really arn't very good machines. the
best upgrade would be a 300mhz 6500 board, if you can
find one... it will just plug in, and you are ready to
rock.
