In one classroom I have two LAN's. One consists of 14 LC580's and an old Apple LaserWriter IIg hubbed together using individual patch cords and linked to the school's main server for Internet access. This LAN works fine.
In the same room I have 13 LCII's linked to a Quad 950 server using AppleShare 3.0 in a thin ethernet daisy chain using BNC connectors. Working ok. But the extra LW NT I was using for this stand alone LAN has conked out. I'm pretty sure it is beyond my ability to repair. These LCII's were also connected via ethernet using a Dayna Print Server device.
Finally, my question is: Is there a way I can print to the one IIg from the two different LANs?
If you need more information, please ask.
Jim
