Hi,
I'm setting up a 630 as a file server - could I get it to bbot/run from a ramdisk (as some Duos can??)??
Would it be faster/worthwhile??
Can someone point me to a 'how to', or advise??
Gamba wrote something along these lines for older macs, you might check his site, I've had a quick look but didn't find the piece of info to link to but you may find the needed info there or in one of the docs in the ramdisk tools found there.
Check out the "RamDisks", you may have to add bits to them?
You'd require a bit of ram. It would be a interesting project, I hope you will post what you find of interest.
