It is plugged into the computer.  I decided to forget trying to get it 
running because it's too old, anyway.  Lots of help here, by the way.

_Only_ the cursor is frozen?  Sounds like the mouse is
unplugged, or something.  Try using a different mouse,
or plugging the mouse directly into the computer
(instead of going through the keyboard).  Don't do
that after the Mac has started up, since that can
screw up the cursor settings (and could also damage
the ADB board).  Also, look at the mouse control
panel, see if it's not on some ridiculus setting.
