Thanks for all the responses. After trying some FPU programs and still running into problems, I tried a little harder to resurrect the old Q650. Reformatting an old 840MB drive using SCSI Director allowed the 650 to recognize it, and an old Apple CDR from a 7500 allowed me to install 7.6.1 onto the drive, so that for now, the Q650 is back up and running.
