Anything you find out about q700s will be appreciated. I use a Powerbook
Pismo for my daily stuff but would like to dedicate my quads to slow
crunching. In the old days we used to use an old old, at the time quite new
and modern, Commodore 64 for doing fourier transforms. The big problem was
getting a problem finished before the power would go out, which happened
about twice every ten days or so.

So, let me know if there is anyone running a modified or straight linux
system on the Q700s.

I could be enticed into working on linux on the 700s. Seems nice and zen
like.
