I know all about the hfs+ issue and thats not it. If i format it hfs on the 7.5.5 machine OS X tells me it unreadable, and visa versa.
OS X supports USb floppies and recall there is a hack to get internal ones to work but no OS X supported machine has a floppy drive except the beige g3 right?
Is this just an a problem with OS X? Have you booted the OS X machine into OS 9 and tried to see if the Zip drive can read the disks from the Quadra Zip? The problem could simply be do to differences in the Zip drives and have nothing to do with the OS that is running.
