I think legally you're not supposed to help yourself to the data on the original disc. However, personally I would not feel as though I was acting unethically if I were to acquire a copy for myself. Original system software for vintage class machines isn't used for any reason other than idle curiousity and a desire to use the computer as it was intended. Pragmatically, I don't think anyone is going to care.
I don't have a copy of this disc either.
Note that I'm not encouraging (or discouraging) any kind of software piracy, simply giving my opinions as they pertain to *this particular instance*.
