Mac emulation
Gemulator or Softmac are bogus, you can run the w2k binaries of basilisk under XP with the bonus of networking which softmac doesn't have among other short comings.
Basilisk II has a utility for extracting the rom along with instructions.
Most MacOS's under OS8 are downloadable from apple with the exception of OS7.1. You will need a hardfile that is both bootable and contains diskcopy and some version of stuffit, stuffit is not a must have but very handy and saves on the hair.
For what its worth you can emulate 8.5-9.2.2 and also all flavors of betaX upto 10.4 under XP, Panther boots in 61 seconds here.
http://www.graphixmad.plus.com/downloads/downloads.html is a site originally connected to mac emulation on the amiga, the hardfiles at the bottom of the page along with some of the documentation should get you started, the files will work although maked for use with Shapeshifter or Fusion, unpack with winrar or similar.
